A big part of being an air cadet is going on annual camps. Camps combine all the knowledge you’ve learnt on Sqn and let you apply it in a practical sense. You will have the opportunity to go on camp during the summer holidays, October half term and usually February half term.
Whilst on camp you eat in the junior ranks mess alongside serving airmen and women and you get to experience life in the Royal Air Force. Whilst on camp you will usually get to go flying, shooting, section visits, fieldcraft and more.
You may also strike gold and be lucky enough to go on international camp to Gibraltar, Germany or Cyprus.
